Idealast short-stretch compression bandage is a permanently elastic ideal bandage with an extensibility of approximately 80%. It retains its elasticity, has a high working pressure and low resting pressure, and can also be worn in a resting state. It is washable up to 60 °C and sterilizable (steam at 134 °C). The bandage is very durable and therefore economical. Idealast short-stretch compression bandage is made of 69% cotton and 31% polyamide. The product is classified as a medical device class I, non-sterile, and provided with a CE marking according to EU Directive 93/42/EC. The stretched length of the bandage is 5 m, the unstretched length is about 2.8 m, and the elasticity is 80%.

Idealast short-stretch compression bandage is suitable for moderate compression in the context of prophylaxis or follow-up for venous complaints or as support/relief for musculoskeletal injuries or ligament injuries. It can also be used to fix bandages or plaster splints, or as a sports bandage.
