Dovetail plaster applications
A dovetail plaster can be used to provide first aid for skin injuries. You can use a dovetail plaster to bring the wound edges of a superficial tear or cut together. Hartmann's hypoallergenic dovetails prevent the wound edges from pulling and help stabilize fresh scars. It is therefore a must to have this type of bandage in your first aid kit. These plasters are also indispensable in general practices, first aid posts and hospitals. Superficial wounds that do not require stitches can be healed with this plaster. Dovetails can also be used in combination with sutures to relieve tension on the wound and strengthen the sutures.
