Atrauman sterile ointment compress

Atrauman® is a sterile ointment compress that does not adhere to the wound. It is suitable for a wide range of wounds, including acute and chronic wounds, burns and surgical wounds. Atrauman® helps to protect the wound against drying out and infections and makes changing the dressing less painful.

Properties of Atrauman®

  • Soft, thin bandage that is easy to apply
  • Non-adhesive, making changing the bandage less painful
  • Protects the wound against dehydration and infections
  • Versatile for a wide range of wounds

Material

  • Woven hydrophobic polyester with an ointment without active ingredients
  • Ointment ingredients: fatty acids (triglycerides) and coconut oil
  • Non-sensitizing and contains no additives of Vaseline, lanolin or paraffin
  • Classified as medical device class IIb, sterile
  • Provided with a CE marking

Indication and application

  • For atraumatic wound treatment in all wound healing phases
