Stretch bandage to prevent further swelling

One of the most important reasons for applying a stretch bandage as a treatment for an injury is to prevent swelling of the affected joint or injured ligament from increasing. Swelling can prevent blood flow to the tissue, preventing waste products from being removed and ultimately causing damage to muscles. It is therefore important to limit swelling. Before applying a stretch bandage, you can cool the injured body part with a cold pack to prevent swelling. Another option to provide cooling to the wound is to choose a self-cooling stretch bandage, such as the DermaPlast Active Coolfix in our range. We supply stretch bandages in different sizes, so that there is a suitable bandage for the treatment of the different body parts.
