Atrauman Silicone wound contact layer sterile, packed in packs of 5

Atrauman® Silicone is a thin, moldable bandage that is easy to cut to size. The dressing is coated with silicone on both sides, making it easy to handle and preventing the secondary dressing from adhering to the wound. Atrauman® Silicone is suitable for a wide range of wounds, including lightly to moderately exuding wounds and protective layers on non-exuding wounds. The bandage is also suitable for sensitive skin and can be combined with NPWT.


Properties of Atrauman® Silicone

  • Thin, moldable bandage that is easy to cut to size
  • Coated with silicone on both sides, making it easy to handle
  • Can remain on the wound for several days in a row
  • Prevents the secondary dressing from adhering to the wound
  • Protects the wound bed and wound edges

Material

  • Network of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with a silicone coating on both sides
  • Open network structure allows wound fluid to drain
  • Classified as medical device class IIb, sterile
  • Provided with a CE marking

Indication and application

  • Lightly to moderately exuding wounds
  • Protective layer on non-exuding wounds
  • Suitable for sensitive skin
  • Can be combined with NPWT
