Compression bandage for the foot

A pressure bandage for the foot can be applied to the foot after an injury to protect the joints. The bandage will provide support and rest in the event of a bruise or sprain and can prevent swelling. The pressure that the bandage exerts on the affected body part will relieve the pain. However, if too much pressure is applied, or if the pressure bandage is too tight, complaints such as discoloration or tingling of the toes may occur. In this case it is advisable to remove the compression bandage and apply it again, but less tightly.
