Apply a pressure bandage around the knee

In case of an injury to the knee joint, you can apply a pressure bandage around the knee. An injury could be a sprain or bruise of the joint. By applying a pressure bandage, the affected weight is supported, which reduces pain and possible swelling. It is important that the compression bandage is applied correctly. If the bandage pinches to such an extent that the knee becomes thicker or you experience numbness, apply the pressure bandage again, but slightly less tight.
