Use alginate dressing

The hydrophilic polymer alginate is made from brown seaweed, then extracted from cold coastal water. The main component of alginates is alginic acid, which is a polysaccharide composed of guluronic acid and mannuronic acid. The alginate bandage that is tied in the KS Medical Group webshop is made of flexible calcium alginate fibers. The alginate fibers will be converted into a firm gel when they come into contact with wound fluid or blood. The moist environment created by the use of alginates in wound care promotes the healing of the injury. Alginate also helps contain the exudate so that it does not cross the edges of the wound and dead tissue will be absorbed by the alginate.
